| what sort of troubles will i face if i remove all my plastic arches? thinking of running with out them but then i have to take the side skirts off as well. and side trim :-( | |

| Dont remove them you will only find rust you dont know about! I did. | |

| that was my first throught but one of mine is hangin off and there isnt any rust in sight.
just thinking of running with out them but dont want to lose the gti look.? | |

| thinks jon but i need new ones anyway just seen a few mk2's with out arches and liked it. might have to buy some new ones as a back up then see how it is with out them? | |

| Could need welding in of a new arch... On the up-side if the plastic one's are stuck on the MOT man can't see the grot! By all mean pop them off but be prepared to glue them back on a bit sharpish! | |
