Early Edition 17th April 2011

Taking place on 17 April, at Saints Franklin Gardens in Northampton, the show promises to squeeze a free show ’n’ shine and live interviews and DJs into the one-day event, and with plenty of hard standing space and a licensed bar on-site, it’s sure to be an awesome event, no matter what the weather decides to do

i have a work leaving doo on the 15th.

a scalectrics championship at Ashworth valley raceway (phone me if you wanna come play) on the 16th

and possibly early edition on the 17th... depends how hung over i am.

im out for this passed mot today so ordered my coil over today hopefully they will be here to fit on sunday

im spending so much money this and next month due to frogs mot/weekend away/tax on new motor/new motor and also as ive not found a new job/money downt south yet im going to have to pull out off this one

Yeah, easy to get too.... although They didnt sign post it at all....

(Ohh suprise suprise from the E38 Lot, I think it took them how many years to get it done for overstone??)....

Luckily the location was the Rugby ground... but still, one job! "------> This way E38 "

Anyway, thats my lil rant over....Ok Good Points.....

- Easy to get too....
- Petrol / Carwash Close
- Cash Point Close
- Nice back drop.... Although I do prefer a field, for photos and generally chilling...
-Usual high Qaulity cars..
- Music, Trophies... Good atmosphere

£10 spent well....


Bad Points...

-Severe shortage on parking.....(I got there at 1030 and i had to park miles away outside the ground)... So why the Fudge didnt they open the overflows for the show.... They had already rented the friggin grounds!!

-No Traders really, other than plates and stickers (If you like that sort of thing) not my bag, but matters to some folk...

- Not enough space, the cars were so packed in it was difficult sometimes to isolate a good car for a shot.... and if its gets bigger (As im sure it will, there wont be enough room)

- Didnt screen the show n Shine entries enough, some right lemons (and I dont mean 'Rats') got through.... and better ones were left outside .. and some decided they just wanted to park inside the show!! grrrrrrrrrrr

No Club stands!

No For Sale / Autojumble.... (They could have easily allocated some room outside the ground for this in the entry carpark)...

OOhhh and they didnt give out the cool plastic bands .... just crappy paper ones! LMAO


Inshort, a great day, but could have been better.... Basically if they had gone to Overstone or Similar for a day! (Hell why not 2 Editions!!!) Im sure no one would grumble at that idea

Oh PS..... I meant, Im not into Traders at shows on the whole..... Usually becuase either A, I cant afford a 1.8T conversion or KW suspension lol or B, I hate Lexus-Halfrods-Bolt-on-Shite...
