Hi all

My name is jack and im 21 living in the watford area and work as a a HGV mechanic near heathrow. I have recently decided to join forums to seek knowledge and ideas for my car and hear of shows and meets i may be able to attend. I own to cars one is a vw golf mk5 1.9 TDI which is just my daily runner and my other one is a vw golf mk2 GTI which is my pride and joy and which i spend all my hard earned money on. I brought it in the middle of 2010 and its royal blue which ive just had mostly re painted sitting on 16x9 borbet a's lowered 40mm and 2.0 litre 8v engine and recently brought full leather interior to fit and 1.8t engine conversion which im trying to carry out at the end of the month so its ready for the shows this year. Thats about it but if anyone has any knowledge about doing 1.8t conversion any help will be well appreciated. Heres some pictures of my mk2 but they are from when i first got it and arent very good and its not very clean but hopfully have some better ones very soon.

Love your mk2 and your plans for it...we seem to have a few member with mk2's at the moment so you will fit right in...infact I think mk2's are taking over..lol.
Hopefully see you and your baby at a meet. Also feel free to add your name to any show events that we attend...we try to do quite a few each year.

Yeh I'll keep you updated with the progress mate hopefully have most of it done by end of febuary.
