I have owned this car for 3 years and it has changed quite alot! and before may this year it had been off the road for around a year and a half!!! having the work done
PLEASE come and see the car otherwise you wont appreciate it - I have put ALOT of time and effort into this car and its all been done by me (and friends!)
its a 1.8 8valve carb, UK SPEC SOUTH AFRICAN IMPORT (SO NO RUST UNDERNEATH!) and speedo is in KMH
In the 3 years i have owned it it has had.....(apart from the obvious)
-GTI cam upgrade -Genuine wolfsberg steering wheel -cambelt changed -gti front brakes with drilled and grooved discs and green stuff pads -Weber32/34 DMTL carb upgrade -lowered 60mm on shocks and springs with new top mounts -front lower arms polybushed and new ball joints and track rod ends -cap/arm/dizzy leads and plugs -new clutch and release bearing -clutch cable -Custom stainless steel exhaust -New large audi radiator -Reinforced sump (painted orange!) -Battery -keyless start
and loads more i cant remember!!
Its amazing fun and gets ALOT of attention!! (and i mean alot!!)
Things to consider:
The rare 13x8 minilites WONT be sold seperatly! they will go with the car
Its not a concourse car so does have a few minor dinks (but hardly noticable)
It is Very low at the front and it IS noisy and it ISNT exactly 'relaxing' to drive! :O)
Because the rear bulkhead has been taken out you wont be able to put back seats in it again
-horn push missing from steering wheel -extinguisher and electrical cut off on outside arnt wired up to anything 'yet' -small hole by back of wheel arch (minor)- pictured I'm not 100% wot the mileage is i think its around 110k i will check this by the time you contact me (as its in KM's)
mot until May
Currently sorn but can tax at additional cost
ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE RING 07772 668223
