| no tyres, just the rims, hes mirror polished them but hasnt sanded them down enough so you can see parts of the wheel where he hasnt sanded down the laquer enough or other parts where hes sanded too much. hes also painted the basket teal, think its a porsche colour. ive sent him a PM offering him £200 and my current alloys that have brand new tyres on, only been on the car a month! so in theory ive offered him just over a grand for the alloys. ive left my email and my phone number so hopefully he gets back to me... | |

| including SCENE TAX i would say £100 each ..............
then tyres 50+ each
if you have that sort of money i would find somthin a bit more individual than that ??????
i am not a big fan of any BBS tho
my top tip MERC rims but you will need adaptors/spacers
or some kind of RALLY type wheel COMPAMOTIVE MO ?????

| MK5's are 5x112 so you can look at Audi/Bigger VAG/Merc all bolt straight on (with spacers for Mercs offset). | |

| The Mk5 can take much bigger and better wheels than RS' 18's and up on a Mk5 IMHO...
In the BBS stable.. LM's RS-GT's Porsche - almost any wheel will fit but have to be 18's and above really. Lambos fit, Bentley fit (and played out), Audis fit, Bigger VW's etc etc etc. Mercs.. again almost anything 18 and up...

| i found some merc alloys on fleabay with no reserve, they are 18s and supposedly quite a limited edition. ill wait a while till i bid and see how much he wants for them, its one of those weird companys that just seem to have loads of spare alloys 'they fell off a lorry me thinks' they look nice though... the whole point of this thread was just to see how much people thought a set of BBS 17s might be. im not looking at swapping my alloys just yet... i think fake splits will be the next big thing but im still going to keep my eye out if i find anything that grabs me, at the end of the day.. like bazza has said many times, im doing it for myself and if people turn around and notice, ill be even happier. watch this space. | |
