jack car up
drop the oil
undo all the 10mm bolts holding the sump onto the block
u'll prob have to lever the sump off as its probably gonna stuck on
check strainer and check for any excessive wear
clean off the sump and block
fit new sump gasket
replace bolts

u'll need a 1/4 inch wobble rachet set due to the 2 bolts on the sump next to the flywheel which are buggers to get back on straight

hope that helps

It really is as straight forward as Fitzy says, jack the car and axle stand it as high as you can to make it less claustrophobic under there.
