GTI spring festival Clubstand 2010

Santa Pod Raceway, Podington, Bedfordshire (J14/J16 M1)

Admission is only £15 for a full day!
(Under 13s go free - when accompanied by an adult)


Test your car on the world famous
Santa Pod 1/4 mile
Once inside the venue, for a one off signing on fee of £20, you can sprint up the famous 1/4 mile as many times as you wish.

Not per run, no time slots, just get in line and drive!

All day if you feel like it! And the timing equipment is accurate to world record standards, so the time and speed you run here is FACT, not fiction.

If you haven't done it before, give it a try. The adrenaline is addictive, even in a relatively slow car.

Don't forget your driving licence - NO LICENCE = NO RUN !!!

It's easy.

My first reaction time was something like 4.8 seconds, but once you get the hang of staging etc it's all good.

Gotta do it, it's hilarious.

You gotta do it ginger...soooooo fun I know its only in a straight line but it still gets the adrenalin going.
It will be my second time but first time in this car.

I wanna go, but am not sure if I'll be on the stand. I'll just invade it like I did at Summer GTi! lol

Hopefully my engine will be working by this stage and not acting like a steam train, I guess ragging it down the motorway wasn't such a good idea after all.
