Haha just had to post this...

Today VR6Brew went to meet dubrichard at Halfords as Richard wanted to buy the Ronal Turbos (back lol) being a true dubber he wanted to put them on straight away and papa being the nice thing that he is, offered to help.
As they were leaving, papa was blocked in by police cars with sirens and lights going and they grabbed his keys from the ignition and was being a bit nasty. They said they had had a call saying that someone in a green van was nicking wheels...lol he said he just sold some wheels to richard who was behind him so they grabbed him too.
Even when they realized it was totally innocent they didnt say sorry....
Flipping busy bodies ringing the police...if they had took one second to look and see what they were doing instead of jumping to conclusions then the police could be out catching real criminals.

tbh i do think the police get a hard time sometimes - in general i think they do a good job

Way back a few years , i got pulled over VERY early one morning picking the missus and her friends up from a drunken night out - i got pulled over for driving 'irratically' they checked my details and made sure i was the driver coz they had a few cars get nicked . I'm glad they did pull me because if it was my pride and joy someone had stolen they would have got em

hey i was really shocked when i saw steve getting pulled over, but a as couple of people have said at the end of the day the police were doing there job

Yeah good job to the police....wouldnt like my wheels nicked.

So the lesson learnt from this episode:

Manners are very important, treat people with respect
The Police have a tough time, they have heard ever story in the book but were doing the right thing
Changing your wheels in a Halford car park is going to look odd
Steve is a Pikey

Ok i wasnt rude to the police but i did feel they were a bit dramatic, but as said im glad thinking about it... it could easily of been my bbs,s or one of our members wheels... so all in all they did respond quickly and halfords car park was not the best place to swap wheels...

Steve, I can't imagine you being rude or stress out to anyone. That makes the story more amusing. I hope they didn't do a cavity search.
