I'm so happy I wrote off a Toyota at Christmas (mine). Enabled me to get back to golfs. Found myself an immaculate mk3 16v. I'm loving it. Previously had a mk1 & 2. Now it's vdub forever. Loving my car and loving driving it (even though golf clubs won't fit in the boot).
I was at last months meet with an old black merc. You only let me in because i'm a mate of Dan's. Some awesome cars! Good banter too.
I plan to cherish this car to the max.

Ah. Just like a bloke I tried it before reading the help sheets. Seems I'll have to load shots up to a web site first. Der.
My paint is mystic blue but it's totally dark, photographs like charcoal, nice.
Dubdreads mk2 is the bees. HIs vents are awesome.

You could downsize it on something like photobucket....maybe just a tadge smaller... Smile

Have managed to figure out the uploading . Please find more photos in the Garage under (newbies new shots_gti 16v). Would enjoy your feedback/suggestions.

Couldn't find an Anni good enough or near enough. The 16v I showed you had a big hole under the drivers seat. He thought I was Fred Flintstone! Got very lucky finding this one. locallt too. Decent milelage (100k), great condition and fully original. Drives like a dream. It's better than I hoped for. And though I love and wanted black, this mystic blue really is mystic.
In some ways I want to mod the hell out of it and create a super beast but at the same time it's factory lines are top notch.
Better deal with a slow puncture first!
