Well it was only 1cm so should be all ok... however can someone check the road to the car-park's clear? Getting over the bridge could be an issue with the snow/ice...

Or we could re-arrange for say Halfords/McDonalds... at least we'll have hot coffee/choclate on tap! If that's clear that is!

The main roads round here are ok..its just getting out of the little roads that nobody bothers to grit. So I would imagine it wont be to bad there but hot chocolate sounds good to me

i live opposite the car park on durrants hill, the roads are ok, i havent used my car for a few days and its stuck in the snow, ill get the shovel out, halfords carpark yesterday was terrible, pretty un-useable, the car park on durrants hill was bad too

OK shall we say that if there's no-one at Durrants Hill then head to Halfords?

Will try and get there for about 1.30 with the little man... if the roads are ok... main road through Amersham looks like it wasn't gritted last night! Fekkers!

However the drive's cleared and Anni's defrosting in the sun, she'll be covered in a layer of salt though bugger cleaning her in this weather! So all OK our end!

yep, tried halfords and maccy Ds, dicked about at durrents hill for a while then just went for a beer.

Sorry I couldnt make it...My daughter went to a party that was ment to start at 2pm at the community centre and the woman that was running it didnt even turn up till 2.45 and there was nobody to stay with all the kids that had been dropped off. Rather annoyed as I really wanted to see baby.

I had the choice of a RWD auto with 245 tyres and not enough tread or a FWD car with a racing clutch, and I live on a steep untreated hill.

So I took the minicab, skidded all the way down my road, went to Halfords but couldn't see anyone and then spent 30 mins getting back up my road, mostly sideways - sorry if I missed anyone. Both cars are off the road until I can see tarmac again
