yeah, it drives spot on, no knocks no bangs, charger is noisey as, thing is, show cars, hmm, where do i start, Paid nearly 6k for this with no MOT, mot'd it and the police pulled me the next morning, demanding a re-MOT, as we are all aware, car enthusiasts that we are, mr mot man was good to me, rear lights etc, BUT BE WARNED, the police in hemel are after anyone with modified cars, my car was siezed and a prohibition notice served, which means, VOSA the guys who over see the mot laws had to come down and shaft me, basically the few minor things became major, now i cant use the car untill i remove all ABS components, fit side repeater lamps, and tighten a rear wheel bearing, all is already done, barring the ABS, so i have had a s*@! week!!! Matt.

BUT the car is the tits, it needs a lot of finishing, it has been built by a bodyshop, now needs a MECHANIC to sort it properly,

right, the abs light doesnt illuminate, i understand this, its unplugged cos there are no sensor wires to the hubs, (they have been cut off and taped in the loom) so in theory no ABS? correct, but the guy from VOSA says it all must be removed including the module, sensors, but the loom can stay there, so im gonna take it all off.

As far as ABS, the G60 in a Rado (most likely donor) never had ABS...

however from memory, and maybe Andy can put me right, if you want it passed as a non-ABS car you'll have to take out the sensors/Pump/ECU, and get a "blank" for the ABS Light so you can't see it on the dash...

Yes thats correct, you will need to totally remove the abs sensors and module etc to pass the mot 'properly' cos on all testable items if its fitted its gotta work! I have this argument quite often with customers when i fail thier cars!

lol, that is exactly what i have done today, just need to work out the way to hook the system back up.. got the pump off, sensors out, not sure how to re plumb it, but it has had the mother of all mot's!! any ideas would be grately appreciated guys n gals, i may just re-pipe it all, but not sure, all the other items are done so if i can just use 2 tee-piece brake unions???

yes the vosa guys dont do the mots lightly! im sure they just love to fail cars majorly!
It sounds like your on the right track, i would probably just join them with unions aswell and possibly re-route or re-make some of the pipework to make it look abit more neat and tidy.

Matt, just to poke another spaner in the works, do you have any service history on the charger?

Also if ANY of it's from jabba hget it off and send it to Darren at G-werks to service... they're the best when it comes to G-Laders... (aka Granades)
