18"/17" alloy wheels/steelies that will fit 5x112 (golf mk5)

anyone got any dark/black/primed 18" alloys/steelies that would fit a golf mk5 5x112? I think 17" steelies if probably asking too much but would desperatly like to see see if i can pick up a set of alloys for a decent price

what about getting a set of banded steelys for yours.... Not conventional i know but maybe worth a shout?? xx

the price of four steelies... which are £20 each new... ( i'll get you trade price)

banding is £40 a corner - or so ive heard...

So you looking at about £60 a corner for some proper sick wheels you'd just have to get some rubber to match

You could get 18 inch space saver and have it banded

banded steels will cost you about 4-500 quid mabye more cos they are bigger than usual. or just spend 2-300 on merc wheels like you know that you should.

eh???? nah its a type of merc wheel. ihope thats the real name and im not remembering it wrong... and you dont even need adaptors!!! how can they not be the perfect wheel for that car.

doug, jake..... andy has already said that i'll regret getting the deepdish splits i want to get for the car. i asked him why i would regret buying them as i thought they were fairly euro. his only response to his earlier comment of 'you'll regret buying them' was.... those alloys are gay. I personally really like them and i think they'll look really nice on the 5. your not going to bully me into getting merc/bentley wheels unless you actually want to buy them and fit them to my car whilst i sleep.... ill prob still take em off when i wake up anyway...

Not everyone will agree with the choices you make with your car dude, it takes a big man to go with your own mind. You gotta live with your choice on a day to day basis. Mod your car with one thing on your mind "I'm doing this for me, noone else."

There will be some people who won't agree with your choices, but that's their problem not yours.
