| hi again, my corrado 2.0 16v 9a, has developed another problen, it seem to be over fueling, when i disconnect the 2 pin temp switch(under the dizzy), it runs but lumpy and when reconnected while run she cuts out, and struggles to start, bought a new sensor and the same happens. would it now be the lambda probe or something else??????????
thank in advance | |

| quick update, fitted a different temp switch, and cleaned ISV, still the problem is there, but seems worse, it turns over fires up then dies, even when i put my foot on accelerator the revs dies. ?????????????????????? | |

| get yourself on to clubgti its the best site for tech stuff
coz you have the KE-jet system ther cant be that much wrong coz its a mechanical system as opposed to digital,
you need some one to check all the circuits on the engine
things like the thermotime switch, 5th injector, warmup regulator and the plugs assosiated with ithem could be to blame
one things for sure it will be 2-3 different things makin the problem ....not one
it is of course possible it needs a good tune up???

| ok, had a little play and i disconnected the 2 pin temp switch under the dizzy and she idles and revs but a rough idle and lumpy under 2k, n was thinking it may be the ignition switch, because the fuel primer pump is always buzzing, not sure if its ment to do tht or not :I, and ive heard about a pre pump in the tank??????????? | |

| Sounds like a v frustrating problem, tbh dude for these sort of problems club gti or the corrado forum are your best bet for info,
i'd love to help as a Rado owner but i've never had a valver and there are people on both sites who've been playing with them for years and have no doubt experianced similar problems
sorry i cant be any real help, good luck!

| I back up what Yeti and Dred have said, I have been thinking about what the problem could be and there is no easy answer. You are just chasing it round the car at the moment but the boys at the other sites have some really great tech docs on these sorts of problems and often focus on exact problems effecting these cars. Good luck. | |
