| just bought myself a vw corrado,  gone from the horrid vauxhall :HIDE: to a classy vw, so hello every1, but i do have a little problem though, on top of the throttle housing there is a microswitch, and when it was connect the car wouldnt rev past 1.5k, but as soon i disconnect it she runs fine, could any 1 tell what this microswitch does and is it bad to leave it disconnected | |

| Hey welcome along. I've heard that the micro switch when throttle is closed, so touching, just idle's the car out, when not working that's why it revs higher.

Maybe someone can explain further! Thats the switch on the side not the top, It alters the timing at tick over. The one on the top looks like a full throttle switch. Not that, that helps  | |
