| Hi people..... I need some advice before I go to the garage tomorrow! I had some alloys refurbished about 3 weeks ago & today noticed they are getting yellow patches! I've tired wahing them but no joy! It looks like it's the actually laquer or paint turning yellow? What could cause this? Here is a pic, the yellow isn't really shown well - you can just about see some of it: Any ideas? | |

| Looks to me like they've had some form of acid based product used to clean them, you haven't or haven't taken it to a valeters to have the wagen washed have you? |

| Harsh breaking can discolour/bake the laquer. Go back anyway. | |

They said in the lacquer there is UV protecting stuff, which they believe the powercoat people have cut back on (saving cost) thus why mine have turned yellow in the sun!? Could be bull, but I've picked them up after 3rd refurbishment - been on a day, so fingers crossed!? | |

if you want your center caps painted aswell, cant powdercoat plastic, and unless they have found a match recently its hard to get same colour with paint for the plastic cap |
