Subject: Tyre pressure for 18"? Tue Jun 09 2009, 14:05
Hi all,
Hopefully I'll be picking up my new refurbished alloys tomorrow & i'm wondering what should be the correct tyre pressures? I done a bit of research but keep getting different figures!
The tyre sizes are 225/40/18
My car is Mk4 TDI

The general consensus is that anything from 15" to 18" is about 35psi.

Start out at the same pressures as the Factory wheels and then adjust as necessary...
My 205/40/17's were run at a few PSI below Factory to soften the ride slightly, but the Yokos have hard sidewalls...
