hi guys my VIN on my mk2 b reg gti says VOLKSWAGENWERK does this mean its a german vin not english it doesn't show up over here on v dubs systems? thats a shot in the dark if any one can help! would be much appreciated.

I think thats the german name for the factory.
I've seen it on a few old VW's
