| I looked at this a while back and then looked at building up my own kit but all my research came to the same conclusion: My car is 2WD and therefore it would be a waste of power. Also, where is the fun is getting someone else to do all the work . | |

| Your 4WD would gain more than my 2WD would. But part of the fun is the journey and learning what would be best, I am not sure I would be able to use 300 BHP though... | |

| tbh 1. any thing over 280bhp in fwd is a waste ( allthough im aiming for more) 2. if u can work a spanner u can save at least a grand off that price 3. the majority of 1.8t engines (except the bam ) can only handle 300 ish before the rods make preety hole's in the block | |

| You don't need £3k, work out the price of the following: 1) Better air intake, a panel filter will do up to a point then a heat shielded cone system will work better. ~£100-£200 2) Uprated and increase intake pipes to actually get the air into the turbo ~£100 3) Exhaust Manifold uprated if required ~£400 4) Uprated turbo if required $$$ 4) Downpipe and cat ~£340 5) Better flowing full exhaust system ~£300 6) After market Recirc valve ~£70 7) Increase air flow from turbo to intercooler (silicon pipes) ~£100 8 ) Increase air cooling with FMIC ~£600 9) Increase air flow from FMIC to inlet ~already part of silicon pipe kit 10) Uprated injectors $$$ 11) Uprated inlet manifold ~£800 (not required) 12) Uprated FPR (4 bar bosch) ~£60 13) Map it ~£400 You can keep the K03s to ~260, then you need to change the exhaust manifold and downpipe to fit an after market turbo, the K04 route is proven but won't give massive gains over the K03s as they technically have the same compressor. Actually that is a lot of money.... How much of the above have you done yet? | |

| i think id do some homework on the turbo, people with my car have suffered badly by buying these sort of kits, turbos and mannis have been poor quality (in their case, not saying that kit)
id personally go with and am going with a proven company with their used widely used kits, unless maybe that is used on the audis a lot? | |

| 782 dollars for all that? Somewhere there's a Chinese factory knocking out counterfeit K03s... I'd run a mile. You get what you pay for, and in this case I think you'd get a piston-shaped hole in your bonnet | |

| i ONLY want 300ish bhp, so wouldnt been running it at full psi! its a hard to know with kits like these, yes they could be really sh!ty but then everyone has to start somewhere! they only bad bit would be the turbo if anythink, yes i know a big part of it! but then unless u buuy a band new tubro, u can never be too sure and i how of peeps that have had new tubros on new vans put the impellor through the head! with less than a 100miles on the clock | |

| It looks like a bargain but it is not good enough quality in my mind. I think you would be better spending the money on top kit for fitting quality alone. | |
