Hi,

Here are some pics of the car over the last four years, when we purchased the car back in Sep 2004 it had 141k on the clock, with a full history, 3 previous lady owners from new, and the criteria being that the car had to be a 3 door in black with all original panels.

It took us 6 months + to find the car whilst covering nearly 4k miles travelling the UK, the car has now done close 194k, we fully rebuilt the chassis/running gear in 2004/5, extensive servicing schedule ever since, body work & rust removal 2004/05/06, engine still very much standard with the exception of our custom eprom, still now signs of a rebuild required & dyno'd late 2005 107bhp/122lb/ft.

All items replaced with genuine VAG items with the exception of the mains/spots/sides, we've always tried to use Swisswax products on the bodywork, its been a true labour of love, the car still puts a big smile on my face everytime it's driven.

The car was my daily driver from 2004 all the way up until Sep 2007. Future plans?? A tough call really just of late I've been offered so many cars to take over the mantel but for some reason this particular car we've become very attached too, so hopefully we will keep developing it further, while trying to keep cost/budgets under control.
