We are off to Egypt tomorrow to celebrate my birthday in the sun. We fly to Luxor direct for 7 nights in a nice hotel by the Nile. I have used some contacts to line up a local 'fixer' to drive me around so hopefully we should be ok Surprised

. Not my first trip there so know what I am looking forward to.
We get back late on the 4th March, in time for the club meet on the 5th.
Best not to text me over the week as it is going to be expensive and I won't be able to Vag-com your car anyway. Rolling Eyes

I held off the booking, it ended up as £350 each for flights and hotel. That is damn cheap.
This is a temple and tomb visit, going to start easy but hopefully get to see some stuff off the beaten track.

We had a really good time and took in so many places. Whilst the balloon ride was excellent and worth the £29 each we paid, the best part was walking the huge hill side the protects the Valley of the kings. We could see into the valley as well as into the temples on the nile side. Absolutely amazing. Very Happy
