Snap, I really miss mine too. Mine was an 04/05 998. Did you have the proper blade, or the baby blade? Both bikes are incredible rides. So well balanced, and friking quick. I am older and wiser now. Well wise enough to know I am way to dam naughty for a bike!

Mine was an 02 954 running a 'special' exhaust and remapped with a powercommander. It broke all UK speed limits in first gear. Pleasant to ride too.

Actualy you did, it was the CBR600F4i it was a 600 cc fireblade everone called it the baby blade it was in production from 1987 and was first know as the hurricane, I think it became the baby after the 400 dropped. Maybe you didn't get it here in the uk?
At Cali, nice one, I had an acropovic exhaust, custom ram airbox mobs and a few other tricks. Really do miss that bike.

We called the 400 the baby blade and most were gray imports. The cbr600F4 in the UK was never referred to as a baby, have you every tried to pick one up?

Yeah I know, but then the 400 blade was dropped and everyone I know reffers to the CBR600F4i as the baby blade from the late 90's. Grated it is a heavy bike. In fact from 2008 CBR600F4i was changed to CBR600-RR, noww remember the "original" baby blade was the CBR400-RR So even honda are seeing it as the baby blade.

We had the CBR600-RR from 2003 and it could be brought along side the 4i still. Very capable bike but it just reved like made and I didn't like that, prefered the power of the 954, similar weight too.

its all about the twins for me!!
My 2001 Aprilia falco was just amazing - to a point were it scared me!!!- -the one with the RSV mille engine in (i had a stubby twin can system and a renagade airbox -(which was basically short stacks, a sheet of carbon and a pipercross filter on top - it sucked ur nuts off!!!)
also had a 94 old skool air cooled ducati 600ss which i stripped and completly rebuilt- was slow fook but sounded great.
I did have a In line 4 at one point , it was a 1994 ratty -hand painted/dirty zephyr 550 and i loved it!!! - it had done 60k and smoked more than dot cotton but it was great fun - quite zippy too!
.......oh yeah i had a 1994 aprilia rs125 when i was younger..........i crashed it -----alot !!
ahhhh.................those were the days!! (until VW's took over my life!!)
pete i remember you saying u had a kawasaki ZXR 600 or 900 at some point ??
