| i need tyres for my new wheels, the say u should have 175/50 R13
would like lower profile if poss
iv had alook around the net but cant really find out....
oh yer they are 7x13 was size do u think i should get to strech them a little?

| Thats the same size as mine 175/50/13 Yokohama on a 13x7 just a little bit of strech you could go for a 195/45/13 continentals but ive had two wheels next to each other with both sizes and the 175/50/13 looks much better and they have a cool tread patent  | |

| Tom, if you're talking the A539 (which is about the only Yoko in that size I can find) then you haven't driven them in the rain I guess?
Matt, go with Conti-sport-1's are a little more than Yoko's but much better wet-tyre, as as good in the dry... Highly recommended by the Corrado Forum's VR-Turbo guy who's run over 300bhp through a set of them as daily tyres...
IMHO the A539 is where Yoko dropped the ball in wet-weather tyres, shame as the A520 which came before was an awesome wet weather tyre!
There is a Pirelli P5000 Drago available too dunno what they're like though! | |
