| well i was just driving between berko and bourne end when i heard a loud pop, car cut out and wouldnt re-start! so i pulled into a lay by popped the bonnet and it stunk of egg!, anyway, looked underneath and the intercooler pipe that double backs (james youll know what i mean) had popped off! typical, i was one of the crappy jubilee clips holding it on (one i hadnt changed for a good one), so with no tools and an iphone for a torch i just rammed the pipe back on, and it restarted fine, i drove it off boost as much as possible which was disappointing drove it back to tring and it popped off again! this time the tcs light came on, no egg smell though. do you think its just the boost hose come off? or do you think its something more sinister? ill fault read it tomorrow when i get a chance. anyone local fancy giving it a quick check over for me sometime? i dont wanna do more damage by driving it round if you know what i mean! | |

| no mate, as soon as i heard it i dipped the clutch and rolled it into the lay-by by which time it had stalled. weird! it wouldnt run right with the hose off, was revving all over the shop then it would just stall!
i may of been giving it some beans just as it went though just as it peaked at 21 psi lol | |

| T-bolts are meant to keep their shape better, I am still looking for the really fancy ones that will solve our boost needs. | |

| I'd look into having a small "Bulge" put in the ends of the pipes (like the Rad pipework has) to stop the pipe slipping under boost. | |

| Top Gear Performance in St Albans do exhaust's, they have a machine that expands the pipe end's I think. They might do it for you for a small fee?
