| I didn't think you could bypass the N75, it is the Wastegate Bypass Regulator and though you could take it out I am not sure how you would benefit. However, people do fit other VAG versions and claim a benefit. You can try mine if you like, it would also give me a change to dismantle the area and fit a new pipe whilst you are test driving it. | |

| Right, I went digging and found this diagram: It shows the normal modes people make on the 1.8t and the things that get bypassed. It is also shows the bypassing of the n249 and the removal of the reservoir over cap 4. Before I go and rip all my pipes off, has anyone done any of this yet? | |

| i have removed my n249 valve as they are crap and fail often id be very up for a trail removal of the n75 valve or re locating it etc also have u looked at the enlarged turbo pipe if u are fitting a new turbo intake pipe that would be worth looking at 2 its a larger item ill find a link for u http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/section.php?xSec=140 http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=11033&xSec=140 <-- my next purchase after my exhaust arrives on tuesday http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=3705&xSec=140 <-- turbo intake | |

| That is the part the Forge TIP connects to on the Turbo side, it actually bolts to the Turbo. In other words you can enjoy both parts. At present I haven't replaced either part but I have been looking at getting both, I was also looking at the n75 replacement however I am sure I read that the n75j works as well, that part was originally fitted to audi's. For £65 quid it is not too expensive to buy one and have a go. When you bypassed the n249, did you put a resistor in place of the item so the ECU is fooled into thinking it is still there and functioning? Good to be sharing these idea's, it is encouraging me to get moving again on mine and unleash the beast. | |

| i know im thick lol but does that bit just act as a bend up form the turbo then? as my forge tip goes straight onto the turbo? or am i completely mis-understanding it (probably)? ive bypassed it but left it connected and just screwed the two valves at the back of the engine to try and keep it looking neat. the forge tip was best thing i did, it whistles lovely now! have you done much to it yet? | |

| that forge tip on your ibiza mate will go straight onto the angled neuspeed peice ( it looks like part of the turbo but actually pushes on and has a retaining bolt)
nah no sensors fooled just a bit of good old fashiond silicone pipe .
your welcome to take mine for a spin once the exhaust has been replaced (by next weekend )
there is several different rated n75 valves and iv heard different reports on different ones what engine code do u have ?
mine is aum with forge 007p n249 delete 3" decat and downpipe, Blue flame 2.5 inch full stainless system ramair panel filter drilled and smoothed air box with cold air feed , running 21psi 217.8bhp at fly 232 lb ft torque , r tech hinkley remap
without the exhaust i wanna get it re rolling road'd with the new exhaust. then its time for a fmic 4 bar preassure regulator full silicone hose kit neuspeed turbo intake race n75, boost controller and stage 2 remap hoping for 250 - 280 at fly
junk the dual mass flywheel for either a g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch or the awsome kit | |
