any ideas?car just juddered and the tcs and engine light came on, tried deleting codes but they come back!

calimori (geoff) has the whole vag-com

he might know! engine light came on cos youve got 10 or more codes (i think)


juddering? as in as you accelerate? or brake?

i literally turned a corner and it hesitated (like when traction control does it thing) then the lights came on. never had a problem till now.

now i think its in limp home mode but it drives smooth and theres no juddering at all! bloody cars

check your abs wires havnt rubbed through, but this shouldnt be as you havnt lowered your car.

if not calimori is a spot on bloke and should be able to help you with this, maybe drop him a pm or sumit if he doesnt pick up this thread..

this is why i moved away from peugeots lol!!

check ur brake lights work

we get LOADS of golfs/polos which have this problem, brake light switch fails and brings on tracs light and eml

also clean out throttle body and reset basic settings as this can bring on faults for lambda

just a thought

Brake lights work, remember seeing the light on the wall, will double check later though!

hey sorry to hijack but anybody know how i can unlock my vag com to be a little more helpfull and a little less shite lol

You would need to buy the full cable and get the software that goes with it. I have posted on the other thread the information in case you need it.
