Sorry for no show, the golf is causing many headaches at the mo. Been working day and nite to get it going.
it rumble into life again this morning but am having trouble with the advance&retard on the dizzy. need to find a centrifugal one that doesnt need to run off the vaccum. drove it for the first time today and it shows great potential. the noise is incredible.
Hope all are well and had a good time, will hopefully catch up soon!

Brindle.. go have a chat with Murray's they should be able to advise you on the best centrefugal set up... Also have a chat about coils too, up the spark a bit.
If it was Air-cooled I'd say Bosch 009/Blue coil...

I'm thinking that i may be able to bastardise a dizzy off of a 16v as they dont have a vacuum. i believe!!!! they bolt directly into the head though i think so would have to try and use the guts of it.

Have a look through the GSF is closing thread I put them up there I think... if not google Murrays direct, they only in Hatfield opposite the Gonnerea
