| The standard suspension on this car is weird!! basically once youve undone everything the springs use there own tension to push down on the hub carrier which is then pushin down on the drive shaft makin this difficult to remove as a whole unit!...the inside of the top strut is the top spring seat...on one side we used spring clamps on the other side we used a grinder to cut the spring down for ease of removal plus they wont be going back on...got rears to do tomorrow which dont look that simple and these cars are 4x4...prob the hardest coilys we done so far... | |

| I stood and watched for three hours thinking it really shouldn't be this hard, but it was. Glad to hear you got the the other side out with less hassle. | |

| No probs, send him over one night or let me know when he is going to be at yours. He had a bill of clean health on Saturday when we checked but maybe a sensor has been knocked. | |

| I will bell you tomorrow, I am a bit busy having a birthday weekend. I think you will need a 0.2 ohm fuse, and some wires to make up the cable. I can help bodge it together on Tuesday night if you fancy. | |

| Buying the right resistor was an absolute arse, the guys in the shop were not particular knowledgeable or helpful. I have some parts that I am going to play about with tomorrow but so far I have realised that if the air bag is really only 0.2 Ohms then that is very very low. Maybe just the right piece of wire will work but then we need something to deal with the current in the even that the air bag is triggered. | |
