I can reset the service light with VAG com if required.

service light can be reset without gadgets................just ur fingers!!
I can get it done for £49 (done at mates rates) 0.5 labour @ 83.65 p/h instead of £119.50 p/h

That sounds good, and will it fix the problem for deffinate?! Im away in bath this weekend but I have the week 23rd-27th off from uni would that be an okay time? What vw dealer is it btw? Would i have to book an appointment or could i go through you?
Ive read in the hayes manual about resetting the service clock but apparently after 1998 a garage has to do it?

Watford Citygate Volkswagen is where the Fitz works, I use them all the time, very helpful.
