car not running :(

Ok so my car hasn’t started for a few days now replaced the dizzy the coil and the amp unit because the rac said there was no spark. Now the fuel pump doesn’t sound like it is coming on and the car still aint starting can anyone help me with info on how the fuel pump works and how it turns on and off thanks xx

check fuel pump relay mate, its probably that..... its a 4 pin relay - relay number 12 (i think) in the under bonnet fuse box - when u turn ignition it should click and the pump should prime - if it dosnt replace that first

if ur handy with a multimeter - check for a live feed to the relay to terminal 30

if ur not good with a multimeter then bridge terminals 30 and 87 with a small piece of wire (with a fused link in it!! - just in case) - this will then bypass the relay and fire up the pump (easiest way to test it)

he's right ^^^^^^^^^^^ apart from the fact yur relays are inside the car under th dash

fuel pump has to prime and it should do it wen you turn ignition key ,

if the relay is ok it could be yur ignition barrel playing up

is the car turning over and not starting or is there nothing................

have you reffered to the k-jet troubleshooting guide ??

once you bridged the terminals on the relay board did the pump turn on?

if anyone knows where the fuse 18 is sat at the back of the fuse box and knows how to wire it through the car i have wire just dont no how to do it please can you help me

so the car works now??

it works but the power to the pump isnt getting there i used a wire to connect the pump to the fuse and it works so the wire from the fuse to the pump is broken and so i need to wire a line from the back of fuse 18 to the pump but i dont no where the back of fuse 18 is so many wires its a mess at the back so if some one could tell me where it is then i could fix it

youll only find it by pulling it all appart

where is the fuel pump by the way

just befor the back drivers side wheel

you need to take off the lowerd dash section the unclip the fuse box and it will all fall about 4 inches the you can get to everything
