| I tried to post the other day but the site went down. Thank you for the special mention. My vision is not performance over style but as most of us have older cars, I believe in getting a car mechanically fit before trying to do the style or performance thing. I also am a firm believer in not doing a modification because it 'looks good' that actually detracts from performance and that might be braking and handling as much as acceleration/speed. My Beetle is all about the style but only now it goes and brakes properly. The Golf is about performance in as comfortable package as possible. | |

| For me it has to be a 50 50 split between the two but i do love to see a well trimmed VW with all the leather, smoothed out, slammed to the floor etc just like you see at the shows. My theory is a bit like finding your perfect lady if you know what i mean | |

| For me its all about personal taste id love a really fast car but that costs a lot of money so im trying to strike a nice balance between power and style... but if most of us mod our cars whatever they be then surely the two should go hand in hand....
so for me a highline vr with a planned turbo install is my dream at the mo
but its a good question when say buying a car for looks or performance! | |
