NEW CAMBELT AND TENSIONER AND AUX BELT (discovered that i could do with a new crank pulley as the rubber bush is quite perished)








ALSO SORTED THE EXHAUST BLOW

AND (I KNOW THIS IS SAD) PAINTED THE REAR EXHAUST BOX BLACK AS IT WAS RUSTY AND HORRIBLE

AND BLED BRAKES (ALSO DISCOVERD THAT I NEED NEW PADS AND DISCS ALL ROUND SOON TOO .......RUUUUBISH!!

off to visit the bodyshop tomorrow for its inspection on the rust before it gets done!! woop woop!!

I wish i had the balls to take on something like that, i would f it all up i know i would.

Im guessing you already have a supplier for the discs and stuff but ive had a look on ebay for discs for mine in the past and some of the smaller sizes are dirt cheap (maybe quality is aswell?)

Looks good i cant wait to see it at one of the meets

Trust me I've had some fook ups on cars in my motor trade life!

Unfortunatly u'll never find 'cheap' pads and discs for ur car as they are the size of a small sombrero!!! Whereas mine are the same size as a babys bonnet! (Wot a weird way to compare sizes!? Fcukin hats!!? Wot the hell am I on about!?- oh well I'll go with it!)

oh yeah the car is now booked in for may to have the rust done and some other bits! Yaaaay!

The closest i get to my car with anything metal in my hands is my car keys lol, i would never attempt anything like you because i know it will end in tears

lol @ hats! My discs are just rediculous prices, as you know vw charge the earth for them but up untill now ive not found a company that supplys the same quality discs for cheaper . Ive got some 'ok' ones on at the mo but they are being changed soon, i honestly doent think you can beat oem discs, ive had 2 aftermarket sets that have warped now.

I think you should fit some white wheels to this car! The green and white would look kinda cool i think

Oem discs are pretty good tbh! What ones u putting on urs then?

Just 'cheapish' Ebay jobbies but they just cant handle the heat and the abuse like what the oem's can.

I'm running ebc yellowstuff pads that are brilliant but the discs are poo so they are getting changed soon.

White wheels are going to look really good with the green mate! Mine are going gloss black as we speak . Fingers crossed they will be done for Sunday or i will have no wheels lol.

O.K as you know my car is having a visit to the boyshop to get rid of some of the nastys!!

so first off was to take off both the rear arch liners and sideskirts to reveal the Rustyness
