Forum Changes

Just to let you know that over the next few weeks / days the forum will be 'experimented on'

I will try not to mess it about too much but i think its time to freshen it up...............


Any suggestions please let me know


I.e any sections you think we dont need or wish we had

Any features u want to be included etc etc

We are in this club together and want to make sure everyone gets involved

Great Start Fitzy, you have my support.
My thoughts are we need more technical sections but people have to start writing them again. If you do stuff on your car, take pictures and post the info up. The more information we collectively have then the better our cars and this site will be.

No boobs, there is enough on the internet and you lot know how to find them.

Currenty looking for a black and white background but just experimenting for the moment

how about this for a title picture, the bit when you sign on? have it in full colour with everything else in grey? get some arty farty stuff gwan

Obviously I'm the odd one out here because I find it a bit hard on the eyes.. Also if you look at eg a profile page you're losing some text into the background.

Don't like the 600-px width either, this is 2010!

But I'm a miserable b@5tard who does this for a living so I'll always pick holes - good on ya for doing something at least

love the new work,etc,etc but grays also hard for me to see!!!......................................................but we still love ya fitzy!X

nice work Fitzy!!! I'm really liking the new grey look

I have a few suggestions that i think might help improve it a bit.......

i.) The vids section should be pics & vids section
ii.) its a little hard to easily see new or updated threads, could a colour be added? or is this limited to the template style?
iii.) images for the header.... maybe we should have a link that ppl could send good images to you for your appraisal or maybe a thread section for possible header images that ppl could submitt to & then pole vote the club for?
ps. if you want that image of the namds at VAG fest 2010 resized or altered in any way let me know matt

just noticed as well that the Job/hobbies and humor text in our profile info is black......
which makes it a little hard to read on a black background lol

or is it supposed to be stealth???

I've HOPEFULLY sorted out the new post bit with a big nomads 'N' - that look ok??

i have changed the video section to 'pics and videos'

I'm not too sure how to fix the 'profile' text colour problem i'm still new to this but i'll look into it

Ben - i think i've changed the width issue? - does it look better??

i changed the back ground colour........how is the black??


Doug - would be good to get u over or i come to see you one night and you can help me with the website if thats ok?? would be good to get someone on board who is ACTUALLY good with computers and design etc - i've got lots of ideas but i have no idea how to put them in to practice
