Evening all, had this up for sale a while ago but have been royally let down/foobar'd over so its back up but not like before. Ideally i'm looking for a swap with a derv as I do silly miles during the week. Would like a mk4/bora but open to ideas.
The car....1988 'E' Golf Gti 16v with a 2L 6a fitted. Just had a full respray (I'll come to that later), Side moldings removed, Scuttle smoothed and single wiper fitted, rear seams and badge smoothed, smooth tailgate with smooth plinth. All the plastics have been smoothed and painted in satin black. G60 arches all round. Will need the front arches re doing due to winter battle scares.
G60 front brakes, Fully polybushed, FK highsport coilovers, Eibach front strut brace, 16x9 Schmidt ML shod in Conti sport contact 215/35/16!!!!!!!
Engine, Audi 6a bottom end rebuilt approx 60k miles ago, Stage 3 head with 268 duration cams, Miltek manifold mated to a Powersprint exhaust. RR'd @ Stealth making 185bhp and 154lbs/ft. Did a 15.1 @ 92mph at the pod.
Recaro electric seats, Dash, center console, A B C post and a few other ranbom bits flocked
Will come with a full MOT as of Wednesday and 6 months tax as of the 1st.
Right now to the paint. Had a full repray done October last year and it was ment to go back to have a few bits re-done due a few bits sinking, some micro blisters on the tops of the bumpers and a bodged past repair rusting though on one of the rear seams. Came to deal with the lad doing the paint that we'd swap. A month later he is now ingoring my txts and phone calls hance this advert!!
Need a quick sale or a swap for something derv.
