| go for a set of 195 45 15 (preferably toyo - as they have a flat sidewall) and they'll look sweet | |

- hello mate on me mk2 golf driver three door red its been lowered a fair bit at the back say about 50 - 60mm the tyres tuck under the arches anyway and the front is a bit higher with only a 20 - 30mm drop.
I'd go with Fity's advice... Personally don't like stretch for a lot of reasons (safety the number one Though) Post up pics&spec of what on there at the moment... Stock VW mk2 is et35 from memory so you shouldn't need stetch to "tuck" the tyres under the arches with et25 I'd have thought... Tyre wise I'd go for Toyo PX4 or Conti-sports have used both on the Rado and both give great grip wet or dry... Standing water at M-way speeds not a problem with either... Avoid Yoko Pradas they're great dry but sketchy in the wet. Please, please, please, also avoid "cheap" tyres remember they are your las line of defence between you and the Verge/armco/ditch/trees... Have a look on tyre sites such as Blackcircles, or talk to Caddy Andy on here... Like suspension and brakes they are a vital safety feature, don't scrimp... | |

| so you can chage two diffrent numbers on the tyres to acheive a stretch is this right, so what do you end up with two diffrent styles of stretch depending on which no 's you change??
