I'll be along for this convoy, should be fun! Thats aslong as i can get my self out of bed that early on a sunday morning! Can someone put my name down pls?

Just spent 90 mins sawing through a snapped subframe bolt above the captive nut in the wing with a hacksaw balde taped to a screwdriver.. Halfway through now.

New steering rack almost fitted (tell!), just need to get this bolt out and rebuild. Should be good for sun.

Just spent 2 hours trying to end up with a runner (even without power steering) but just too much to do and the engine mount bolts being a pain, not gonna happen.

Gutted, was really looking forward to this. At least it'll be done proper and soon, the racks off what looks like an unmolested passat vr with 77k on the clock and feels strong.

tryed to keep up with the nomads convoy but long golf with stuff in

It was a good day and the weather turned out to be nice aswell. Thanks to every one for letting me tag along to my first show with the nomads. roll on next weekend for the pod mite take the golf this time for some strip action!
