Thanks guys Really felt the nomad love over this week it looks really good in that pic but it need a bit of work(list of stuff in the wanted) the rear bumper needs pulling back in to place and the paint is fu*ked on the roof any one good with te-cut?

we can look at the bumper.. might be able to do sumit with that!! i wana see it!!!

under that shiny red shell was a nasty center had more wrong with it than we first throught so i got rid. new one is sweet just needs tlc on the body

You managed to sell her quick enough and find a good replacement. Well done.

Jay, will have a look at the paint for you next meet. But car looks sweet and good to see it's not a rotten centre.

If it's mettalic it maybe laquer issues, but might go away with some real elbow grease.

Best bet is to try and get a couple days of dry wearher to hit the car hard with some good detailing products.

Get the Megs Stage 1 paint cleaner and give it about 2-3 really good goes with that, this will strip off all old wax and some in-grained dirt too.
If the paint still feels "Gritty" it will need Claying to remove Bonded surface contaminents (Tree-sap, Brake Dust, etc)
Once it's nice and smooth give another 2-3 goes over with Autoglym Red (SRP)
When all good and shiney, seal with Autoglym Gold (EGP)
Then a couple of coats of wax, will finish it off and then just top off the wax every couple weeks..
And remember tyres (Tyre foam for those of us who are lazy) and all the the black trim (again Autoglym do a great product).

If not I know a mate who does Detailing work as a side line to being a soap-dodger, and is a dab hand with a PC polisher.. but he does charge..

Right Rob Charges in the region of £100 for a full machine polish. But this depends on other remedial work too, so bit more if it needs claying etc..
