Help!
Passat is interesting but supposed to be a crap, slow drive (for a 4l car)
Fitzy, you got any experience of them? Should I run a mile from a 106K example?

i thought they drove really nicely - - they sound gorgeaus esp in manual
but if u are serious about getting a W8 , DO not get an auto!! as the box's break all the time and get one with low mileage! (so yeah stay away from the 106k one!)
Also u need to bare in mind that evferything for these is expensive! and cost ALOT if they go wrong
but a WICKED car too!!!!.........buy one!!!

540 had sold by the time I got a reply from the seller
W8 high miler auto not a good choice then, and low-mid milers out of my price range.. Oh well. You've confirmed pretty much what I though.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Audi goes next weekend, gotta get a move on!
