Ok first "International" show breaks cover... (MIVW still waiting for dates!)

So who would be interested in an International Nomads convoy?

Last Year Northamptonshire, this year Europe!

Yes I would be. Could sort out cheap tunnel run poss.

Last year ferries were to be had for just £25! if you were ealry enough! And local hotels do "Brit's discount" too for the weekend.

Belgium is really close and always a good place to drive to. Well worth doing a Europe show but the dates are bad for me at the moment.

Which were you thinking of going john? Ramsgate or Dover? Roughly 230miles to the venue.

Also consider Eurostar if you book early enough, there is nearly always a delay coming back but going out is usually pretty straight forward.

Either eally, just keeping an eye on the "Brit contingent" and what they're doing... Power in numbers and all that...

dover is easiest, we do it all the time! only a couple of hours on the other side

Out on the 5th, 12:20 dover ferry and back on the 7th, 21:00 Calais ferry should give us plenty of time! No point rushing it eh?

Norfolk line offering crossing for £19 each way ATM... But there's usually some-one who organises a Group Buy on ED with them (sure it was £25 return last year), same with the hotel..

I can offer a free seat to anyone who wants to go and are willing to break expenses from London (probably meet at Dartford servs-M25)

Ok so loking at distances etc..

From HP1 it's about 440 miles driving (return trip) so at optimum MPG cruising speed about a tank of gas. £50 (based on about 35mpg)

Ferry's £25 return.

Hotel for about £55 (Best Net deal with today's exchange rate)

All prices are at this time...

So excluding beer/food etc.. looking at about £140 for Saturday/Sunday! so split between 2 people per car.. call it £70 each!
