right this is how my car has progressed since i bought it back in febuary 07, its had quite a few changes, some good some bad!
let me know what you think.

this is how i bought it as standard back in feb, 1.6 8v, 1999 t-reg, one previous owner
was pretty much perfect condition apart from the dent in the rear bumper and the dodgy wing mirror :/

my 6n lo DSCF1271
1st off debadge grill, clear indicators & side repeators & smoked rear lights, & bump strips off
all i really could do untill i passed my test

my 6n lo DSCF1276_2
then i ordered some coilies which took 6 weeks to come!!
my 6n lo DSCF1303
in the meantime while i waited i sourced some borbets, 14x8 on brand new 195/45/14... lovely
fitted my head unit aswel
i was going to debadge the rear but turns out the lady who owned it before debadged it herself [no idea why!] then decided to reaplly them... with super glue so to my surprise i had '1.6cl polo' written in crusty super glue which had penertrated down to the bare metal
so i sprayed em black & stuck them back on. will these smoothed off along with the vw badge & handle in the near future
dewiper aswel
my 6n lo DSCF1297

once the coilies came they were fitted along with the wheels asap!
dropped 90mm on the front, 75mm on the rear :p

my 6n lo 343_2
my 6n lo 43444_2
my 6n lo DSCF1365
also got some euro spec 16v rears which looked alot better than the black smoked ones
my 6n lo 322_2-1

later on i fitted some 16v seats, along with some 6n2 rears as i wasnt really liking the overall back end of the car
also fitted a clifford arrow 5 alarm & sub & amp
my 6n lo DSCF1390_2

my 6n lo DSCF1397
also dropped the fronts all the way down 100mm, & the rears 85mm
still doesnt scrub unless theres a fatty or a full car haha

my 6n lo SN850343_3
one of the last shots untill some big plans with my wheels...

my 6n lo DSC00017
fitted a momo team steering wheel, 280mm which is nuts, car feels like a go-kart haha
they were in need of a big refurb as they were pretty bad from the previous owner, so my friend gary who owns a compressor & gun sorted me out Wink

my 6n lo DSC00002
primed & prepped for the dishes...

my 6n lo DSC00008

my 6n lo DSC00009
white all done, next stage centres then laquer...
my 6n lo DSC00014

sorted :p

fronts spaced out to et-16.5, rears et-7 Wink
my 6n lo DSCF1465
too low tho :/ hitting cats eyes suuuuucks
my 6n lo DSCF1460_2
& needs arch work haha
my 6n lo DSCF1480_2
but looks the nuts :p down & out wheeey

managed to grab a 16v bumper (was a right bargain, only 20 quid!) and then dropped it at my uncles bodyshop
got it back the other weekend so went for a few photos with liam R
this is the result
my 6n lo DSCF1507

my 6n lo DSCF1528

my 6n lo DSCF1515_2-1

my 6n lo N748528580_1206682_1738

so thats how it stands right now, well pleased with it so far, few bits like arches & rear bumper but they can wait till i get some more money! lol

let me know what you think

that is awesome mate i love it, bet those dishes are fun to keep clean tho... gotta say i prefer it on the t's than the superlites you need to properly sort the arches make them work. them shots are sick aswell. good choice on the 16v bumper.

Really has come on...

Were the S/lights spacer'd out to those ETs? Because it's all about the tuck this time round baby! And they'd work really well with a bit of tuck!

they were 7j with an et of -7 so they were pretty pokey haha
but then the fronts were spaced even more to clear the calipers so they were made to et -16.5!
too much haha
i would ahve loved to keep them, get the dishes polished up then get some arch work
but i needed money to replace my tyres on the borbets Sad

i might get some more 13s in the future but a bit more sensible next time round lol

cheers for the kind comments Smile

All dubs are good mate, don't get thinking we're all about the goof - in fact probably most of the nicest cars here aren't Golfs, and a few aren't even VW;
